- GUA CERITA (CAVES OF STORIES)

Situated in Pulau Langkawi.- It consists of two limestone caves lying one above the other facing the sea. Ancient inscriptions written in Jawi can be found on the walls of the caves about 7.7 metre from the cave entrance. Inscriptions are believed to have been done in 1754AD during the region of Sultan Mohamed Jiwa II of Kedah who was known for Arab missionaries to Kedah.
