Situated
at the St. Paul Hill in Melaka city.- It was originally a chapel built by a Portugese Captain and named as 'Our Lady of the Hill'. It was converted by the Dutch into a burial ground for their nobles and changed its name to St. Paul Church. One can see the St. Francis Xavier's name was briefly enshrined in the open grave in 1553 before shipping to Goa of India.
