CAMERON HIGHLANDS

Situated on the northwest corner border of
Pahang.
The
Cameron Highlands nestles among the central mountain
range, which is 1,524 metre above sea-level. Also called
'little corner of England in Asia', this highlands has
certainly attracted many local and foreign tourists.
The resort is linked by a winding metalled road to
Tapah town. The air becomes cooler and cooler as
you travel upwards to the resort. The temperature is
around 21 degree celcius on day and as low as 10 degree
celcius at night.
Well-known
for its tea plantation, fresh vegetables plots and
terraces, a much pleasant nature view compared to the
concrete jungle in the big city.The highlands is rich in
fertile soil and the climate is suitable to grow many
vegetables such as giant spring cabbages, lettuce, and
other temperate and sub-temperate vegetables and
fruits. There are also the Vegetable Farm, Strawberry
Farm, Rose Garden Nurseries, Sam Poh
Buddhist Temple, Nature's Hills - stroll along
the highlands, Tanah Rata - the principal town in
Cameron Highlands/18-hole golf course, Robinson Falls,
Flower Nurseries - Malaysia's leading exporter of
fresh flowers, Boh Tea Estate.
