Situated
in Jalan Kapitan Kling in the city centre of
Georgetown. - It is a moorish styled Islamic mosque built in the early 19th century by an Indian Muslim merchant called Mohammed Kling who was appointed as headman of the Choolian community in 1801. It has a tall golden minaret.
