Situated
in Lebuh Cannon near Lebuh Pantai in the city
centre of Georgetown. - It is best known as the Kongsi and is a magnificient building constructed by a master craftsmen from China. The building resembled the Chinese imperial palace. It is the most beautiful temple in Penang especially the Leong San Tong or Dragon Hall. It used to be a clan house belonged to the clan association Leong San Tong. Chinese immigrants who came to Malaysia came under the protection of the clan association. It is today one of the major tourist area in Penang.
