- SRI MARIAMMAN TEMPLE

- Situated near Penang Street in the city centre of Georgetown.
- This is the oldest Hindu Temple in Penang. Built in 1883 and contained some priceless possession such as the statue of Lord Subramaniam which is adorned with diamonds, gold, silver, and emeralds. The temple is busy during the festival of Thaipusam in January.
