Situated
offshore about 30 minute ferry ride from Lumut
which is 85 km southwest of Ipoh. - It
is island resort famous for its beautiful white
sandy beaches and cool clear blue water, and of
course the cool sea breeze.
There are
many hotels and resort accomodation available on
the island. It is the most one of the most
popular holiday destination in Malaysia. Many
fishing villages with houses built on stilts
above the water can be seen here. There are many
beaches one can visit such as Pasir Bogak, Pantai
Puteri Dewi, Pantai Teluk Nipah, Pantai Telum
Dalam and Pantai Ketapong.
