at Jalan Taming Sari in Taiping.
- It is the oldest museum in the peninsular Malaysia. Built in 1886. It was previously a museum emphasized more on the nature's flora and fauna. Material culture and life of the Malaysian are later began to be introduced into the museum. Three impressives collections, there are anthropology, zoology and local history which amounted to some 3,000 artefacts.
