Situated
about 55 km from Kuala Terengganu, 1 hour drive
to Kuala Berang and another 15 minutes drive to
the lake.
It is the country's largest rockfilled hydroelectric dam occupies about 369 sq km. The dam has created a lake with over 300 islands. Kenyir Lake is formed from the Kenyir Dam. The lake is a perfect place for fishing enthusiasts. There are some 40 species of local fish can be found in the lake.
