Hong Kong "The Island"

Hong Kong Island is great metropolis and an  entrepot  to  the  world's third  largest port. Its high  rises  pop up   everywhere, with  a   futuristic  look.    Fifty   storey buildings  are  more  common  than  10 storey building.   The port,  with  7,000 visiting ships a year, along the old harbour front were all her important business and banking houses, and her residents were housed in squalid and opulents suburds around Central. The island is dominated by Victoria Peak. This peak is where the richest  members  of  the  colony   lives.
