Bulacan Province, which borders
on Manila’s metropolitan region has always been
fertile ground for liberation movements as well as rice
supply to the nation. Malolos is the capital provincial
and there are many festivals celebration in this region.
One of the many festivals is Pagoda-sa-Wawa which is
celebrated with an exuberant river possession is at every
beginning of July of the year. According to legend,
ancestor fished the Pagoda out of river Bocaue some 200
years ago.
