Camarine Norte Province is located to northeast of Lucena city. Daet, the provincial capital has more charm and one of the loveliest beaches, Bagasbas beach, 3 miles outside Daet, is deserted except for a few fisherman and has no tourist facilities other than few foodstall. From Daet, an hour’s walk along the beach brings you the picturesque fishing-village of Mercedes. In land of Daet, there is the Bicol National Park. Naga the capital of Camarine has a dash of metropolitan style. It was founded back in 1575 by Spanish and its rank as one of the oldest town in the Philippines. Some tourist places found in Naga is the Church of San Francisco built in 1578, Qunize Martires Monument and Naga Catheral built in 1595 and destroy several times by fire, earthquakes and typhoons, it was last rebuilt in 1890.
