Isabella Province, is located to the south of Cagayan. It is named after Queen Isabella II of Spain. This is a large tobacco and rice bowl region. There is a fine old church in Tumaunin, but more interesting is the natural architecture of the Santa Victoria caves nearby. In the Fuyot National Park, one can see flora and fauna from what remains of Isabella’s jungle. Lovers of old churches will like to visit Cauayan and Echague even though these are just wethered brick buildings. But they have special atmosphere about them.
