Upstream from Boat Quay, this too is an area of restored warehouses and shophouses. It is a very lively place with a carnival atmosphere, clustered with market stalls set up on push carts, a wide choice of restaurants, bars and open-air eating places, and a Disney-style adventure ride. Clowns on stilts and wayside portrait artist entertain the passers-by.
