India features all aspects of Indian culture and
customs. The aroma of spices and jasmine hangs in
the air the narrow streets, flanked by shophouses
selling garlands of flowers strung by men with
nimble fingers to decorate altars, adorn a
woman's hair or a taxi driver's dashboard shrine.
Some shops stock special Indian cosmetics :
turmeric powder or cream for the complexion,
henna to decorate the hands and feet, especially
for weddings, perfumed oils for the skin and kohl
pencils for the eyes.
