- Merlion and Merlion Park
The
tourism symbol of Singapore, the Merlion is
mythical beast, said to half lion, half fish. The
eight-metre high Merlion statue stands guard at
the mouth of Singapore River.
Opening hours : 7am to 10pm daily.
Admission : Free
Location : Fullerton Road (near mouth of Singapore River)
Getting there : Take the MRT to Raffles Place (CI) and walk towards the esplanade From Ochard Road, take TIBS bus 167 or 182.
