Road
This is
the main shopping thoroughfare of Singapore,
lined from end to end with swanky malls,
punctuated with luxury hotels and office
buildings rising to intoxicating heights. The
pavement is a seething mass of jostling shoppers
and tourists, whilst the road teems with traffic.
From November right through to the New Year every
year, Orchard Road is an extravaganza of
Christmas lights and decorations so grand and
brilliant that it makes Disneyworld look drab.
