Orchid Gardens
This
orchid-covered hill on Mandai Lake Road is the
country's largest commercial garden, set up in
1950. A colourful display of a wide variety of
orchids can be admired throughout the year. The
water gardens blanketed with water-lilies
complete the effect of floral profusion. Visitors
can purchase gift-wrapped orchids; incentive and
convention groups can have new orchid hybrids
named after them to commemorate their visit.
The garden is open daily, 08:30 to 17:30.
