Thandayuthapani Temple
Located just north of River Valley Road on Tank Road, this temple is also known as the Hindu Chettiars' Temple. It was financed by the Chettiars, wealthy money-lenders from the Mardras region who were encouraged to settle in Singapore by the British. The temple was constructed in the 1980s on a site originally occupied by an older building of 1859.
