Thailand enjoys a tropical climate with three distinct seasons -

• summer and hot season
  from March through May,
• rainy and wet season
  with plenty of sunshine from June to September and
• cool and dry season
  from October through February.
  

The climate may seem hot and humid all year round. The average annual temperature is 28 ¢ C (83 F), ranging, in Bangkok, for example, from 30 C in April to 25 C in December.

The hottest month is April, and the wettest is generally in September. The best time to visit Thailand are between November and January when the weather is very pleasant, and this period has regarded as the tourists peak season.
