Phra That and Royal Winter Palace

Wat Phra That, perching
on the top of Doi Shuthep, where a relic of the
Buddha is enshrined. From here the visitors can
have a fine view of Chiang Mai City and the
surrounding countryside. Six kilometer from Wat
Phra That further up the mountain stands the
Royal Winter Palace, one of the residence for the
Royal Family is beautified with plenty of
colourful exotic flowers. Open on Friday, weekend
and public holidays.
